Robinson Welding and Fabrication does aluminum, stainless steel and carbon steel welding, custom fabrication, repairs, and drilling and tapping for homeowners, farms and contractors in Freeport, Sarver, Ford City, Kittanning, Vandergrift, Leechburg, Tarentum, Saxonburg and the surrounding Armstrong, Butler, Westmoreland and Allegheny county communities.
From a cracked trailer tongue to a man basket built from scratch, Robinson Welding and Fabrication handles the metal work most shops send away. Aluminum, stainless and carbon steel, MIG and TIG, all from one person with 45 years of welding experience.
Man baskets, platforms, trailer rails, frames, radiators and tanks. AC TIG for thin wall work that burns through on a lesser machine.
See aluminum work ↓Rib racks, hanging hooks, pipe, flanges and reducer collars. Stacked bead TIG where the weld is going to be seen.
See stainless work ↓Gates, railings, guardrail, shelving, brackets and structural work. Heavy plate and light sheet both.
See steel work ↓New builds and frames from scratch, in steel or aluminum. Bring your own drawing or sketch, a photo, or describe it over the phone. Racks, guards, gates, carts and fire pit rings.
See custom builds ↓Shelving units, built-in walls, tables, table bases and benches. Steel or aluminum, built to your drawing or to the space it has to fit.
See shelving and furniture ↓Cracked trailer tongues, torn buckets, side-by-side doors, handrails, radiators and the part you were told to replace.
See repairs ↓Holes drilled and threads cut to size, including broken bolts and stripped threads that need opened up and put back right.
MIG where the job needs speed and strength, TIG where it needs a clean bead and control on thin material.
Tongues boxed and re-plated, frames and crossmembers, new rails and racks, fenders and ramp gates. Trailers come inside, so weather is not a factor.

Not sure whether you are in range? Give the shop a call. All work is done at the shop on Burke Dr, and work has come in from as far as Mercer.
Robinson Welding and Fabrication is run by Robert Robinson out of a shop four miles north of Freeport. He has been welding for 45 years. When you call, you are talking to the person who is going to do the welding, so nothing gets lost between the counter and the floor.
The shop runs evenings and weekends, which suits the people who need it. Farmers, contractors, trailer owners and anybody whose equipment broke on a Saturday have little use for a shop that closes at four on a Friday.
Aluminum, stainless and carbon steel all get welded here, on the same bench, by the same hands. That is one call instead of three.
"Appreciate all the business, hoping to do this full time soon."Robert Robinson, Robinson Welding and Fabrication
